Therapy Laser
We are very pleased to introduce our newest therapeutic tool, the cold laser. Cold laser therapy is the newest medical science combined with the most advanced technology. It is very versatile- helping to heal everything from tissues in acute wounds from trauma or surgery, to long term problems like arthritis, back disease and pancreatitis. The cold laser emits light that is composed of low levels of complementary light wavelengths. Therapy lasers work by supplying energy to the body in the form of non-thermal photons of light. The body is able to absorb this external energy on a cellular level and then use it to accelerate the normal healing rate of tissue for a wide range of ailments. There are many studies available on the effectiveness of laser therapy. This laser differs greatly from our surgical laser, which is a focused beam used for cutting tissue. With the cold laser most animals do not feel anything at the time of treatment. Sometimes they may feel a little warmth or a slight tingling sensation(we have noticed this on ourselves, and assume the ones that squirm a bit are feeling it- since they don't tell us!).
